The Idea program was created in 2014 as part of the local PK-8 school, Blue Hill Consolidated School (BHCS). Through grants and donations, we renovated the previous computer lab into a Fab Lab/makerspace featuring a ShopBot PRSalpha CNC, ShopBot Desktop CNC milling machine, an Epilog laser cutter/engraver, a Roland vinyl cutter, and a DeltaWASP 2040 3D printer, in addition to a variety of traditional tools, power tools, robotics equipment, electronics components, and more.
