Current events, art and culture are the points of origin that feed into my artistic work. Despite having more information than ever before, we become increasingly puzzled by ambiguous and obscured contexts.
I take from this pool of information by means of artistic research, finding relevant elements to shape my artworks.
Connected by hidden narratives, my pieces often present the mysterious and the fantastic. In addition, I am working on a long-time project that documents the actions of “group 16”. These actions are generally related to cultural institutions or the notion of art itself.
In this process between science and fable I develop my narratives and gradually specify them more precisely. I am also constructing interactive forms of presentation to allow for novel means of perceiving art.
